Contra Loma
(2015-2023)
Back home in Antioch, CA, there is a regional park called Contra Loma. Although this project is named after this park—where families hold BBQs, fish in the reservoir, and splash chlorine in the community pool—this collection of images documents the hiking routes cutting across the Black Diamond Minds Regional Preserve. Contra Loma is one of many entry points to the preserve that are scattered across the greater Contra Costa County. The collection holds images of natural still life, sweeping landscapes, and animal portraiture.
